IVF doesn't interfere with physiological evolution of embryos: the best incubators and colture media create an environment similar to maternal uterus. We perform invasive procedures only when they are necessary and safe for gametes and embryos. This is the reason why we don't perform assisted hatching (i.e.), as it's efficacy has not been demonstrated by any randomized trial and so this procedure is unnecessarly invasive.
